Wesker and Shakahnna, Drawn

I had wanted to call this piece "Wesker and Shakahnna, Drawn Together", because its a pun (or play on words, forsooth) on the fact that they are rendered in pencil. This picture actually looks a whole lot better in real life, like, I myself could not stop staring at it, and I am incredibly proud of it. I mailed it to my beloved, and she was kind enough to scan it in and send it to me, so that I could put it up here. Many thanks to her for her assistance in this matter. According to her, she had to touch it up a little since her scanner's crap, so many thanks to her for that also. In truth, it didn't come out too bad

Originally this scene is between Aion and Rosette from the anime "Chrono Crusade", but as with most things I like, I stole the shot and did something with it. It took me an hour or so to copy this directly from the screen of my laptop and edit it so that it was Wesker and herself. Though I am not sure about this scanned image, the aspects of note in the original was Wesker's sneer (I really liked that), and the look on Shak's face, which is somewhere between "ouch" and "ooo".

For those of you who are interested, this was drawn with a crappy HB pencil (worth 2p at Tesco Metro) and crappy colouring pencils of the same value from the same place. And yes, it was drawn on lined paper. If an artist is defined by his tools then I am a cheap bastard.

Note: The Caption reads: "Wesker enjoys a moment of uncharacteristic mirth at the suffering of his beloved Shakahnna. Shakahnna enjoys a moment of characteristic suffering at the hands of the mirthful Wesker." I like word play.
